10 Thousand Stitches, 2024

Complete your space with a one-of-a-kind mixed media or sculptural work by Kuki. 

Commissioned pieces are created from scratch and designed specifically for the space they’ll call home. These works are prioritized in the studio schedule and built through Kuki’s layered, material-driven process.

We are currently accepting commissions for Spring 2026. Drop us a line below if you'd like to discuss a possible project. 

How it Works

All commissions begin with an initial consultation to learn about you, your space, and what you’re hoping to create.

For local projects in the Minneapolis–St. Paul area, consultations can be done on-site to better understand scale, light, and context. Some things we will discuss:

  • Intent - what you’re hoping this piece will hold or express
  • Technique & inspiration - which Kuki works resonate most
  • Subject & palette - figurative, abstract, or somewhere between
  • Scale & placement - sizing options based on your space
  • Framing - including custom wood framing if desired
  • Budget & timeline

After the initial consultation, Kuki prepares 2–3 rough concepts for review. Once a direction is selected, the work is scheduled for production.

In cases where specific weather or environmental conditions are part of the process (such as captured snow or outdoor elements), production begins as soon as conditions allow.

10K Stitches Close

During production, you’ll receive periodic progress updates via photo or video.

Typical timelines range from 8–12 weeks, depending on size, technique, and complexity. Larger or more complex works may require additional time.

  • Minimum dimensions: 36" × 48"
  • Minimum commission: $3,000
    (Local travel included for Twin Cities metro projects)
  • Free local delivery; shipping or freight arranged for other locations
